Omers, a measure. 1 Omer = 6 pints.

#6 ... suggests incompleteness, in comparison with the perfect #7.

#7 ... full, abundant, completeness.

Commandments - Laws ... Of God given to Adam, promulgated through Moses, preserved in the ark, fulfilled by Christ ...

Unleavened Bread: Exodus 12:39; 13:7; Leviticus 7:132; Numbers 6:10

Judah (praise), son of Jacob ... tribe of, blessed by Moses, they make David king & adhere to his house, Israelites 1st called, Jews derived from 'Judah,'

David (beloved), king, son of Jesse, eats of the shewbread, becomes king of Judah, becomes king of all Israel

Chariots - Horses ... When David defeated the king of northeastern Syria he kept from the slaughter horses enough for a hundred chariots (II Samuel 8:4)

Pharisee, derived from the Hebrew word meaning 'to separate.' Intolerant of those different from them. A Class among the scribes. Hypocritical in character - sanctimonious in manner. Spiritually proud - without moral excellence.

Shewbread, 'bread of the face,' Presence of God, 'bread of ordering,' 'holy bread,' 12 loaves representing tribes of Israel, were set in order every Sabbath day before the Lord, ' on behalf of the children,' an everlasting Convenant. 'Loaves symbolized sacrifical atonement of the Cross........... Christ - Living Bread - Nourishment of all.

Synagogue, Christ & the apostle Paul taught in ... Captivity led to the institution of the synagogue, or school of religion. As a rule the house was regarded as sacred to God & HIS Worship. Synagogue did not take the place of the Temple.
