Temple … The House of the Lord, Building not large, magnificent & costly made of stone & cedar, decorated with gold & precious stones. ('Beautiful Gate' was from Court of Gentiles to eastern side of Court of Women, Acts 3:1. East of Court of Israel, & a little lower stood Court of Women, on western side, from which women could look on services of Altar.
