Only Serve the Lord thy God

KJV The evil one came to Jesus, to tempt with more than once in these Scriptures.   Jesus told the evil one, it is written again, Thou shalt not tempt the Lord thy God & Get away: for it is written, Thou shalt worship the Lord thy God, & Him only serve.  You can't love the world & God.  Matthew 4:3-11

God Is Our Strong Refuge

KJV David knew that God was his strong refuge.  An Awesome example for us. Psalm 71:7 

God Made an Agreement with our Fathers

KJV Thy Offsprings on Earth are Blessed, Ye are the children of the prophets,  and of the covenant  - agreement which God made with our fathers, He spoke unto Abraham, And in thy offspring- seed shall all the kindred of the earth be blessed.   Acts 3:25

We have a Holy Calling

KJV The power of God saved us, & called us with an holy calling,  for His purpose & grace, which was given us by Jesus before the world was formed.   2 Timothy 1:9 

Zacharias, the angel Gabriel & John the Baptist conception

KJV  The angel, Gabriel came to Zacharias told them that their prayer had been heard.  Elisabeth and Zacharias would name their son John.

Many would rejoice at his birth.

He would be gat in the sight of the Lord, and he would not drink strong drink such as wine.  He  would be full of the Holy Ghost.

Many children of Israel shall he turn the LORD their God.

Zacharias couldn't speak until after Zacharias would be born for unbelief.

KJV  Jehosphat overthrow his enemies.  His prayer, worship and praise.  They worshipped the LORD God of Israel.   Believe - Have Faith.   2 Chronicles 20:18-21

The LORD is a refuge

KJV  There is safety - refuge in the LORD.   Don't get off the ship.  HE IS GREAT,  there are no words to describe Him.  Praise Him.  Psalm 48:1-8 

Safety & Blessings for the Godly

KJV The LORD God is a sun and shield. A shield protects.   He will give grace and glory; if you walk Godly there are spiritual and natural blessings to receive.   Psalm 84:11 

Safety of the Godly

KJV David flees to God.  Protection of the Righteous.   God Protects.  Psalm 61:3,4

God's Power

God to be praised for His goodness and power.  David praiseth God.   Blessings of fearing God.   Wait on the LORD our God.   He is our help and shield.   Psalm 33:18-20

Everlasting to Everlasting

Exhortation to bless God for His mercy.  He will bless children's children to those who keep His covenant & commandments.   KJV Psalm 103:17,18

David prays to be delivered from his enemies

Sing - Praise is a part of worship.   Defence  - Safety.  God is my strength & defence.   Psalm 59:16,17 

God Throne will stand Forever

KJV 2 Samuel 7:4-14 God's Throne is Established Forever.   God's covenant/agreement with King David.   God appointed His people Israel a place. 

Godly Prayer & the Righteous

God promises to hear prayer that is Godly.   God preserves the righteous.  KJV Psalm 32:6,7
