Sabbath ... It's maintenance as a strict day of rest was insisted on even in the 'earning time' & harvest" (Exodus 34:21).
During the Greek & Roman periods, when,27).synagogue worship became established among all the Jewish settlements throughout Asia Minor, Egypt, & Europe, the reading of the Jewish Scriptures became the regular characteristics feature of Sabbath ritual.
The early Christians, most of whom were Jews, kept the 7th day as a sabbath, but since the resurrection of our/their Lord was the most blessed day in their lives, they began very early alsot to meet for worship on the first day of the week (Acts 2:1),& designated it as the Lord's day. As the split between the Jews & Christians came gradually to meet for worship on the Lord's day & gave up the observance of the 7th day.

Festival of Booths/Tabernacles (Sacred Year 7) (Civil Year 1) Tishri or Ephanim (September-October) One of the 3 greatest feasts/festivals, in the Jewish year: Tabernacle in the fall.
Day of Atonement held the week before the feast of Tabernacles. A fast (Acts 27:9). A day on which no work could be done. This day was called a 'high Sabbath' as well as a day of 'holy convocation.'
It lasted from the evening of the 9th Tishri till that day on the 10th. Ritual acts were performed by the high priest, of which the most important was his entering into the Holy of holies, which took place only on this day.

Nehemiah 8-13 describes the combined efforts of Ezra & Nehemiah to effect the restoration of religion, including the solemn reading of the Law, the celebration of the Feast of Tabernacles, the confession of the Levites, the sealing of the covenant by the people, a list of the inhabitants of Jerusalem & of other cities, the dedication of the walls, & the removal of certain abuses.

For those like myself who do not have any Seminary/Theology teaching/training it would be wise to study/read from Bible Study Tools. This is an awesome avenue to keep you from being deceived from false teachers and or from making a mistake in your learning and teaching.
A good source of study material could consists of: Concordances . Commentaries . Bible Dictionaries . Bible Handbooks . Language Tools . Study Bibles . Bible Maps & Charts . Archaeology Study Aids . Freebies/Free . Frugal
The Internet offers ... "free" ... online .... Bible Study Tools but choose them wisely.
